A Hypnosis session provided through this website or through the hypnosis practitioner is not meant to be a substitute for medical care and consultation. Hypnosis sessions can provide healing on many levels for most clients but is not meant to replace necessary medical care. A hypnosis session is not a medical treatment, diagnostic method, or a cure. Please consult your health care physician for diagnosis and treatment. If you think you may have a health problem or mental health problem, consult a licensed health professional.
If you are seeking pain management or any medical relief, Devin must have a referral from your physician and their contact information. Devin will not hypnotize you without a referral.
Devin is not a physician or mental health professional; she does not diagnose, treat, or cure any physical or psychological illness. If you respect the allopathic medical model and feel you require medical or mental health treatment, you should contact an appropriate professional.
All information received by the practitioner during a session is kept in strict confidence. Though Client information is stored in a secure location, Devin cannot guarantee the security of any electronic transmissions and is not responsible for any information that is taken by electronic means, such as hacking or phishing.
By purchasing a Hypnosis session from the practitioner on the Soulful Alignment website, you are acknowledging that you understand and agree to this disclaimer and that you take full responsibility for your own health, decisions, and actions.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Because appointment times cannot typically be filled on short notice, Soulful Alignment requests that all clients provide adequate notice if they need to cancel or reschedule.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made 24 hours or more before the scheduled appointment may be made without penalty.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a $75 cancellation fee.
No-Show Policy
Clients who fail to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice ("no-show") will be charged the full session fee.
If multiple sessions have been scheduled, each missed appointment or cancellation made with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to the applicable cancellation or no-show fee.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session will still conclude at the originally scheduled time so that other appointments are not affected. If you arrive too late for a meaningful session to take place, the appointment may be considered a late cancellation or no-show, and the applicable fee may be charged.
Code of Ethics
Devin maintains a balanced and professional working relationship with my clients. Devin respects their boundaries, values and opinions, and sessions are confidential. It is against the Hypnotherapist’s Code of Ethics to become personally involved with any client for 2.5 years after the last session.
Insurance
Hypnosis is not typically covered as it is a holistic practice. HSA can be accepted depending on the type of insurance.
Regulations
Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy are legal, recognized, and federally unregulated industries. However, Texas is one of very few states that adds any oversight. The Texas legislature decided that hypnotherapists without a degree in psychology or psychiatry must refer to themselves as "hypnotists", and claim that their services are for “entertainment purposes.” Therefore, regardless of my certifications, Devin refers to herself as a hypnotist on this website, even when referring to hypnotherapy.
